I bought a Tobi Steam Cleaner on Wicount. I was struggling to get the item delivered in the first place. When I eventually received it, and opened it, it looked like it was already used, because there was water in the unit. When I went home to test the unit, a burning plastic smell was coming out where the steam is supposed to come out. I wasn't prepared to wait until it tripped my electricity and told Wicount to collect the unit, because there was something wrong with it. I bought it for my son going on a tour, 14 years old. I couldn't send him with an unsafe unit and not knowing what was going to happen while he is away! I received an e-mail from Magic in the box informing me that they got the unit back, tested it and that nothing was wrong with it. I am very dissappointed in this, because I would not send something back if there wasn't anything wrong with it. I had the safety of my child in mind and the unit they sent was definitely not in proper working order. I had to go and buy a new garment steamer, and I made them test it in front of me! Is this how consumer's should work in future?
