I was given a R5000 Citizen Eco drive watch for my birthday and have loved the watch from day 1
the pin mechanism that sets the time broke so I sent it in to be repaired. when I got the call to come collect my watch I was informed that this watch was a discontinued model and that there are no spares for it. I was not happy and asked how we can rectify this problem. the only response I got was they will give me a 35% discount on a new watch. so what they were telling me is I can basically throw this R5000 watch in the bin.
so all be careful what watch you buy as their time does expire
