I purchased 2 Rest Assured Ortho Superior mattresses during 2007, which came with a 20 year warranty. The mattresss are sagging and in response to a complaint lodged with Rest Assured, Rest Assured "recommends that the mattresses be replaced under the service warranty, however the Ortho Superior are discontinued". I have been asked to pay an amount of R2140.92 in respect of each mattress to give effect to their warranty. This amount being for: R5260.00 (retail price of an equivalent mattress), less number of years in use, delivery costs and VAT, thus I have to pay R2140.92 X 2 = R4281.84. I find this a totally dissatisfactory warranty.
