If there is no argument from Wood Strippers that they damaged our cupboards why was the claim not settled in an amicable way in March? Instead, after copious correspondence they handed the matter to their Attorneys who demanded that I pay the Wood Strippers account of R4490, 00 within three days. In other words I must pay them for ruining my cupboards and then " without prejudice " and " without admitting liability " they "may choose to pay as a gesture of goodwill " The outcome of their so called insurance claim has nothing to do with me. Wood Strippers ruined my kitchen and I expect them to pay. This matter has been ongoing for three months during which time we have been without kitchen doors. Mr Voerman seems content to pay Attorneys to harass me but refuses to discuss a settlement for my damages. It has been and still is being handled in a disgraceful manner by Wood Strippers.
