I first approached Alan Halvorsen to help me bring my outstanding SARS returns up-to-date, around 2007. Year after year since then I have been assured that all is in order and that SARS is auditing me. More calls months later I receive the same response "no no don't worry, SARS is still auditing you" on and on for months, then years. In 2010, I receive a Statement of Account from SARS indicating that I am yet to submit my 2007 returns!! This after the documents have been with Alan for 3 years.
My most recent enquiries with SARS advised that 2007 had still not been submitted, nor 2011, nor 2012 and that I have now incurred penalties in the amount of R9000!
To-date numerous emails and phone calls go unanswered. Is there no-where I can report this with SARS?
