Waterlinx Pool & Spa is a distributor of pool cleaning products and also a range of pool pumps (misleadingly) branded as Quality. Misleadingly, because these pumps do not work. My pump burned about 2.5 years after installation. (Normally, I have seen pool pumps operate for at least 10 years.) What is more, my service provider alerted me to the fact that the pool pump was operating louder than it should and, therefore, probably needed to be serviced. I called Waterlinx a number of times (they never bothered to return my calls) and subsequently was promised by Waterlinx a number of times that they will schedule a site visit to inspect my pump. This never happened and eventually my pump stopped working. Now, I am liable for the full cost of installing a new pump. Therefore, heed this warning - AVOID BUYING POOL PUMPS FROM WATERLINX, as their pumps appear to be of inferior quality and their customer service is practically non-existent.
