I just want to bring the following matter under your attention...
We wanted to adopt a kitten, I then heard about the Kitty & Puppy Haven, me and my husband went there to adopt a kitten.
They charge R400.00 for a kitten, I had the cash & we were ready to take the little baby home...
We filled in all the papers, there were lots of kittens in the cages, they then said we can't adopt a kitten as we are not home on a full-day basis.
We grew up with cats, our parents worked and we were in school & after school, the cats was perfectly fine being home alone & were loving and playful when we got home...
To my horror, I heard them on Jacaranda the other day saying that they will have to put down all the dogs by the end of January and all the Kittens by the 15th of February 2013???
Why would you rather put an animal down than let him go to a loving home...
