I was informed that I owed money to a retail chain by MBD. Besides the huge amount of interest and very rude consultant I was told I do not have a leg to stand on and so I decided to comply and pay the outstanding amount - a payment plan was organised and first payment was made in Nov 2008.
The judgement was passed on 9 Feb 2009 - WHY seeing as payments were being made regularly!?!
I received a letter to say that the amount was paid in full as well as a letter of rescission of the judgement, that all costs in respect of the consent to rescission are to be borne by MBD.
That matter was concluded on the 21st of October 2009 in the Magistrates Court of the Randburg district.
I was informed by Jaco Knoetze that the judgement would be lifted and cleared from my name entirely.
This year, I was informed that I still have that judgement on my name and would like to know why I should pay Attorneys affiliated with MBD a further R1200 for this judgement to be rescinded AGAIN so that I could have a clear credit record again.
