I met up with an attorney from Trutter Crous & Wiggill Attorneys regarding a civil matter on the 07th of January 2013 after paying R450 consultation fee. The matter was regarding My car which was written off after a mechanic workshop employee left it to roll down the street and it hit a wall. my insurance company paid but I have a shortfall amount of R18333 and I wanted the lawyers to help me with the matter. The consultation went well and I left the firm very up beat that maybe I will be knowing what is happening with the issue in about 20 days. Until now I have been phoning every week and I cannot find anyone to tell me how the matter is progressing. The attorney I spoke to told me papers will be send to the workshop owner, he will be given a certain period to respond thereafter if he doesnt respond there will be a letter from the court regarding attaching goods or passing a judgement.
I have left photos of the car and papers from the insurance company with these attorneys and if I dont get feedback from them I don't know what to do now.
