On 7 Jan 2013 I received an sms from above co, stating that I did not honour an payment agreement, and that legal action will follow. I reputedly owed R350 on my tv license and have been handed over. On telephonically enquiring I was rudely told that I am at fault, and that I need to pay, even after explaining that I had in Nov '12 bought a new tv, and had to pay an amount of R 275 which the store found on the SABC's website database, and which I paid. This individual from MZ Attorney's would not answer my query as to where they got the amount from. and upon my requesting a ten year statement said my attitude will have him send the sherriff and the SABC's inspector to my house to fine me and confiscate my belongings, and that would be my ten year statement.
These a88holes better bring lots of re-inforcements
Best of all is I have all my receipts of tv licenses, and have unto now yet to receive any word from the SABC themselves.
If they treat everyone like criminals, perhaps we should start acting likewise, and make their lives living!!
