I purchased a SABC TV License in 2011. I paid the follow up amount in 2012 but also moved out of my residence and moved back with my parents in 2012 due to me being retrenched from work. I did email the sabc stating this. My TV set was sold as well.By October 2013 i started receiving emails and phone calls from MBD attorneys for monies due to the sabc. I explained my situation about me not living at that address and not having a TV set (my parents pay their own TV license) but the people who call don't seem to understand it. They always saying i have to pay. So i got a bit tired and managed to get some monies to pay this. I made arrangements ad paid over 2 payments as agreed. i also informed them that my TV license needs to be cancelled and i cannot keep paying for something i don't have. So i will not be paying any more money to sabc.
Yesterday, i receive another email stating that i "FAILED PROMISE TO PAY' what must i pay for?? I did not promise to keep paying for something i don't have. I want my name removed from SABC tv license list asap please.
