On the day I joined Lipco I told them that the matter I want them to help me pre dates me in joining Lipco. One of there staff members told me since I am joining as a Platinum member this is no problem and I will be covered by Lipco for litigation.
For a year I am trying to get this sorted. During this time not one of the senior staff members of Pretoria told me that I am not covered.
I feel since I was given incorrect and misleading info from there staff members and it had a financial implication on my side Lipco must assist me. If it was not for this info I would not have joined them.
As far as I know you may not be deliberately misled or given wrong info. The 2 senior staff members knew about this, why did they not called me in and told me that the lady made a mistake within the first 2 months of the policy. Instead they told me no problem they will talk to the relevant people.
What a lie!!!
