We have signed all the documents required to register a bond with SA Home Loans on the 5th October at Velile Tinto Fourways office. I was not impressed to find out yesterday that the application still has not been lodge for bond registration by the 12th Nov.
I was only informed yesterday that they are waiting on the Rates and Taxes invoice. We did provide Rates and Taxes information on the day that we signed all the documents and nobody informed us over the course of the month that they are still waiting on this document to proceed. In fact I doubt that this would have come to light if I did not request for a status update last week. It took them a whole week to respond to my status update request.
This is a very poor service and the knock on affect would be that it would take another 4-6 weeks before the bond is registered, which would fall in the middle of December when everything is closed, so it is more likely that the registration would only be finalized next year. No consideration what financial impact their poor service have on SA Home Loan clients.
