After numerous discussions and requests with Velile Tinto to resolve the incorrect listing on Transunion, I found out that I was listed on all 4 bureaus by them.
The substitution of half of the bond was done in 2008 already. But since then, a summons was issued against me and I had to liaise with the attorneys as to what transpired. Even after the attorneys confirmed everything was in place and that legal action will only be taken against the other and only bond holder, I was still listed.
After they promised to view my situation with the utmost urgency, they did not accept responsibility and disappeared from the scene saying Nedbank should continue with the issue.
Even though Velile Tinto has all the resources to solve the problem, I've had to log disputes and follow-up as no accountability was taken by Velile Tinto even though they could have liaised with Nedbank to resolve the incorrect listing.
I'm still battling to clear my name as a result of this fiasco!
