I've been harassed by groenewald lubbe debt "lawyers" for the past 2 weeks about a FNB credit card which was PAID-UP in full on the 8th October 2010. I also requested the card to be closed after payment was made. To make things even worse groenewald lubbe's representative, when contacting a shared company phone answered by another employee, disclosed private information and threatened this person. From my understanding it's illegal to do this. After receiving this message from my coworker and a sms form groenewald lubbe, I checked my credit report at Transunion and Experian and there is no mention of money owed on a FNB credit card and shows as paid-up on the one I had in 2010. I don't know where this debt comes from and want this matter resolved immediately. Even if there is any outstanding debt, this would have prescribed.
