How to complain
o All complaints must be made in writing using a complaints form [affidavit].
o This form is easy to complete and will help you to provide all the information needed by the law society.
o Be brief, accurate and list the main issue around the matter e.g. the attorney has overcharged; has failed to respond to correspondence etc.
o A reference number will be issued and must be used in all correspondence about the matter.
o You will be kept informed about progress on the matter.
