My complaint is with regards to the dates which the debit orders go through my bank account. When I spoke to the agents that contacted me with regards to these accounts, I told them that I get paid on the last day of the month and I reiterated that the debit orders must be done at the first of each month. That is not the case at this point in time, I will demostrate below what MBD has been doing to my account:
1. You deducted the instalment agreed upon for the Woolworths account:
o 26 July 2013 instead of the 1 August 2013
o 27 August 2013 instead of the 2 Sept 2013
2. You have been deducting money from account for the Virgin Active account on dates that I did not authorise since last year already but will just give you an example to demonstrate my point:
o 26 July 2013 instead of the 1 August 2013
o 27 August 2013 instead of the 2 Sept 2013
I have been advised by my bank to write you this letter and ask that you reimburse me for all the unpaid debit order fees that I have incurred because of your negligence. I am paying fees for all the unpaid debit orders that go through my account each and every month; this is also creating a bad record for me at my bank.
