My FNB account was handed over to Brooks after FNB failed to supply my dept counselor with a update balance.
After several calls and request to Brooks, I manage to get an account number out of then so I could make a payment. After my payment was made and confirmation was send, Brooks failed to allocate my payment to my account. After several calls they manage to sort it out and via telephone offered me a 3 month settlement offer. I agreed via phone and request it in writing. months later and after several request I still don't have it in writing. How ever I received at least 4 sms'e and 4 phone calls a week to confirm that I will pay my account on the 25th. I once again request a settlement amount but Brooks failed to give it over the phone or via email as promised.
I would like to settle my account but it seems that Brooks nor FNB wants my money. It's sad that FNB and Brooks treat the people like they do that want to pay their accounts. And the funny thing, the amount that is out standing per my records is only a R1000.00. I am still getting phone calls and SMS to remind me my account is due on the 25th, but still no communication of my settlement amount.
