I purchased a voucher through City Slickers in October last year for my daughters 2nd Birthday party at a venue in Bryanston called "Kids Playdate", the Birthday party was booked & confirmed for the 26th January 2013.
On the 7th January 2013 I received the following email: "Kids Playdate has closed. Please contact city slickers for your refund"
I contacted Cityslickers for my refund on the 8th January, City Slickers replied advising that they would refund me & that I should allow for between 3 - 7 working days for my refund.
On the 21st January, I again emailed City Slickers to find out where my refund was, they replied stating that they were experiencing "technical difficulties", however my refund should be processed by the end of that week...
On the 28th January, I sent yet another mail asking for my refund as this has now become ridiculous as you cannot get hold of anyone telephonically & I am forced to email my complaint through, City Slickers replies on the 28th January advising that they would now investigate to see what has happened... and to date no one has bothered getting back to me regarding my refund.
