WASPA service to their members not the public

I was somewhat familiar with 'WASPA' having read an article in The Star back in 2011 also inviting readers to respond with their experience. My email received no retort. Vodacom provided WASPA's contact number as my airtime was being depleted without authentic usage, to request them to unsubscribe my number from a service, the type of which is unknown to me and furthermore am unaware of how I became a subscriber. WASPA in turn provided the contact number of one of their members, HR Computek, an empowered S.A. company specialising in ICT solutions. WASPA confirmed via email that my request was logged and based on the records of their members they confirmed they had either unsubscribed my number from any of the services they run or had confirmed that I was not a subscriber and based on this WASPA "thinks" the request had therefore been resolved. Proof of subscription had been ordered. A refund request had been put through pending on the proof of subscription proved. WASPA declared they could not guarantee any refunds as they do not provide any services themselves. In terms of their member WASPA's job had been done. As for me, the innocent target, I live with the forfeiture.
