I contacted Bestmed to find out about international travel insurance. The call centre (Marischka Ceasar) immediately e-mailed information on the products and contact details of ER24 & Chartis, underwriters of the insurance. When I phoned Chartis I was immediately assisted and received my embassy letter promptly. Best of all... travel insurance is covered in my Bestmed fees! There is no additional cost, no hassle no if's or but's - just great service! On the other hand, Absa Bank travel insurance could not even provide the basic insurance without additional fees. Thank you Bestmed & Chartis!!!
