We had dinner last night at the Fire & Ice hotel. It was a special occassion for me and my friend and we wanted to share the evening with our friends. We heard all about the amazing milkshakes and burgers at the F&I and was very excited for the evening. On arrival we were seated near the bar where loud music was playing. We asked to be moved and were informed that they wil have live entertainment that evening (could this not have been mentioned when we made the booking?!?!?!) next our 2nd round of drinks were not offered. The burgers were very good but the service was bad again where we had to wait 15 min for everyone to be served their main course. Some milkshakes had no flavour, i had the springbokkie which should have had much more peppermint flavour to it. the Ferrero Rocher was delish. Desserts were okay, creme brule was not available, SHOCKING! Overall, the whole experience was ruined due to bad service!
