My brother was shot in a in Sasolburg and after he stabilized in Kroonstad hospital was transferred to Sasolburg hospital. We arrived about 12 o clock and was told to go to emergency. The doctor on duty Dr. Ke Kumba - probably the rudest person I encountered in my life. He humiliated about all the patients and the people who brought them in. He certainly did not became a doctor, because he want to give a service or help those in need..He had no sympathy, humanity or any compation for his fellow humans, black or white... child or elderly. It is so sad that such people admitted to an institution such as a hospital can bring it so far down. We sat in casualty until quarter past six - it was just a transfer from Kroonstad. Kroonstad treatment was excellent - but Sasolburg hospital casualty was pathetic. The place was dirty, staff on duty looked like they were just standing around. Dr Ke Kumba, on his socks (shoes on the table in service room), try to play police man, chase-hing visitors around - instead of helping people as a doctor. Thank goodness the staff in ward 2 and 3 was excellent - unfortunately it does not make up for the unfit doctor Ke Kumba.
