INCOMPETENT BEHAVIOUR

My husband and I made a booking for accomodation and a massage (it was offered as a bundle deal), we had to pay a 50% deposit and pay the balance on arrival. We advised via email that we would pay cash. When we arrived on the 01/02/13, we handed the host our proof of payment for the deposit to confirm the registration and we paid her the balance in cash, she then took us to the room and handed over the keys. On the 20/03/13 we received an email stating that she wrote on the invoice, payment was made via EFT and she assumed that the deposit was paid as the balance, when she checked her bank statement, she saw there was no EFT made, when we replied and advised that we paid cash, she insisted we did not and that she would not have written paid via EFT on the invoice, she made a mistake on the invoice and she is insisting that we didn't pay cash. When we asked her to check the amount of cash she received in Feb against the bookings made, she did not even respond, now we received another communication from her manager asking for proof of payment for the EFT (12.04.13). I dont see why we have to be harrassed for money that was paid in full.
