Termination of membership benefit by vitality due

Hi,

I recently received an SMS from vitality/discovery informing that they have terminated my virgin active benefit due to non payment. The SMS: "Dear Member, Please note that your Virgin Active benefit has been cancelled due to non-payment. please contact vitality for payment and re-instatement".

I went to Virgin Active to enquire and they told me that vitality had instructed to cancel my membership by the 30 April 2013 because of under-utilization. I contacted virgin active yesterday 10.04.2013 and spoke to a guy called Reshigan ref 2801981768 who insisted that I should go and pay the 950 joining fee as my vitality had been cancelled because I was supposed to pay an additional 86.00 as a spouse on my husband's vitality membership. My husband is paying vitality 199 each month for the vitality benefit - according to their website the fee of 199 covers for the member 2 or more. When I phoned vitality again to enquire investigation, I was informed by Thandiwe that they decided to cancel my vitality benefit as instructed by Virgin active. I do not understand how can my membership with vitality be cancelled by instruction from a 3rd party??
I need this escalated
