Sanparks
Motswere Guest House at the Marakele National Park

On our arrival the bathroom window was broken (and appeared to have been broken for some time). Despite cleaning staff arriving each day, no effort was made to fix this.
The kettle kept tripping the electricity and we were forced to boil water in pots during our stay.
Half the bedside lights had no light bulbs in them.
There was insufficient toilet paper and we were forced to supply our own. (When confronted, the cleaning staff pointed us to a cupboard in a spare bedroom we did not use. Not exactly where one would expect to find toilet paper but perhaps not surprising in light of the fact that the bathrooms had absolutely no shelving or cupboard space at all. We were forced to store our toiletries on the floor - very unhygienic.
The cleaning staff washed up but made no effort to pack the dishes away.
The area around the braai was covered with litter (beer bottle caps, broken glass, pieces of plastic).
The can opener did not work properly and we had to use our penknife to open cans.
Cleaning staff arrived at 8am on the first morning and sat around out front waiting for us to leave. Since we had arrived late on the previous day we did not intend... etc
