I was booked into Protea hotel witbank by my travel agent and only to find out the my meeting / training was at protea hotel highveld (witbank).

I asked my travel agent to change my reservation and i was told that even if they fall within the same hotel chain group (protea), they are unable to change my booking and I will not be refunded the money that I have already paid at the other hotel.

I had to pay for a completely new booking with the second hotel.

This is totally unacceptable and I have decided that my company will no longer use the services of this hotel group in the future!!!
