Should have gone to a Public Hospital

My wife and I took my 7 week old son to your casualty ward and were told that we might wait just over an hour. The staff at the reception desk were super friendly and assisted as much as they could. We were still waiting to see a doctor, we arrived at 23:00 and we had not seen a doctor at 01:10. We decided to leave the hospital then and make alternative plans. An INFANT not breathing properly and takes over 2 hours, to get a doctor to see him!!!... worse then the jhb Gen!!!

I do understand that the hospital gets busy and we have generally been very happy with the level of service that we received from the above mentioned hospital in the past. I am however shocked at the amount of time we were expected to wait and It looked like there was only one doctor on duty!! This is highly disappointing and surprising.

I have sent a complaint through to the hospital they said they would investigate and get back to me, that was 6 days ago... I got a response now!!! AFTER I complained AGAIN...
