This is the second time Discovery has disappointed me in this way. I had a motorcycle accident in 2010, called them from the ambulance to confirm everything is in order, went to the nearest hospital just to find out Discovery refuses to pay for my emergency. Now in January I had another accident, called discovery to hear which hospital to go to, to ensure that Discovery would do their job, called Discovery to ask where to go so that they will pay the accounts, received telephonic assurance that I can go to any of the 'Discovery Network' hospitals, and after going there I started receiving bills from the different departments at the hospital. I'm utterly disgusted and feel taken advantage of, and will move to another medical aid if this is not corrected. I'm on a hospital plan as I only expect my medical aid to assist me in emergencies - but both emergencies have come and gone without the slightest bit of aid from Discovery.
