I was hospitalised April 2012 & Lancet did some tests for me, a month later a received a call telling me that my medical aid had not paid a bill & I'm liable for this. I contacted Medical aid and was told that the test date Lancet submitted showed that I had already been discharged. I explained that the tests were done while I was in hospital. They told me to ask Lancet to amend the date resubmit for payment. I called Lancet told them what to do... the agent understood and told me she'll do this. 3-4 months later I receive more calls from them... I explain the whole situation again & again because every time they call after a few months & it's a different person. Then this Lizzette person who is very rude and threatening, to me that they resubmitted & my medical aid again refused to pay. I called Medical aid they told me that Lancet had never, in all that time, resubmitted the claim and even if they now do, it's too late since their 4 month window has lapsed. Lancet keeps calling me now threatening to blacklist me with the ITC. I don't have the money for this & why should I be paying for their failure to resubmit?? These threats to tarish my ITC records are stressing me out!!!
