I stayed at Fountains Hotel for 3 days last weekend. Easily the worst food and most overpriced food I have ever eaten anywhere in the world. Food from the R175 buffet was clearly recycled from other meals. I saw some of it again at breakfast. Tasteless, unappetising and overcooked. Utterly disgusting. A massive bar which does mot serve cocktails despite having everything to make a range of them. Broken shower fixture -- the shower head AND the tap! Broken hairdryer -- 3 calls and 4 hours to get a replacement. Asked the concierge for matches -- he didn't have any -- how pathetic.
What an utterly terrible stay. You should really just close down already!
