Phoned for pre-auth code and in the end had to pay

I phoned the medical before my mom was going to do any tests. They told me that she would have to do the tests and that no test would be done without authorization. From what we understood if she went through casualty at the hospital and that if the doc checked her out there, she would be covered but aparently not. She has been with them for over 6 years and has had nothing. They don't cover anything, don't even try and it sickens me to think how much money she has paid for a hospital plan when you try and do things the right way they don't even bother. We are cancelling the membership and going with a company that actually cares about their members and doesn't just spill out when you wait for calls to be answered. She went through casualty because she was really unwell and she might have had to be taken up in hospital. Luckily I didn't wait as long as my mother and cancelled my medical with Liberty over 9 years ago. Waste of time as far as I was concerned. They always had problems to pay out. Disgusting service
