I underwent a colonoscopy & gastroscopy performed by Dr. A. Kiss at the Medicross Bergbron Clinic in early Dec. 2012. On 16 Dec. 2012 I suffered the most excruciating abdominal pain, which I initially suspected as food poisoning.
At 1h30am on 17th Dec, I woke in a fever with a 39.5 C temperature, and thought I was having a heart attack. The entire evening through the following morning I was extremely ill, including symptoms of constant vomiting, excruciating pain and cold chills and hot fevers.
At 9h00 on the 17th Dec my GP did a thorough examination, and sent me to the Morningside Clinic for X-rays, a sonar scan, and blood tests.
At 19h30pm on the Monday, the problem was diagnosed as an internal infection that my GP stated was in all probability resulted from the colonoscopy procedure I underwent in Dec. 2012.
In 2013 I contacted Dr. A. Kiss to request he reimburse me for the medical costs I incurred due to these complications. His response to my request that my case was weak and has refused to compensate me in anyway.
I am cautioning others to take care if you are considering having these procedures conducted by Dr. A. Kiss at the Medicross Bergbron clinic.
