My 22 month old girl injured her arm on 27-01-2014, she was clutching it to her body and screaming as if it had been broken. We could not see what was wrong and rushed her of to Olivedale.
An hour later after 4 other patients had been seen and left the casualty ward we still had not seen anyone, in fact only one person had been called and that lady was one of the people who had left.
My daughter was crying in agony and no one came to see how she was or let us know how long we could expect to wait.
At this point I asked your front desk how much longer, with a very uncaring attitude I was informed that they where busy and we where 2nd on the list. After another half hour still nothing and the exactly same response,
I asked how they could treat a Small child like that and I was pointedly ignored!
In desperation we rushed to Sunninghill Emergency Ward.
On arriving, there was NO ONE in the Ward!
I had to go call a Nurses to help.
2 hours later no one had seen my daughter and we left to avoid further trauma to her!
The next day at Intercacre we found out she had a pulled elbow. Very painful but easy to fix.
How is it possible that your staff care so little for a child.
