I purchased a voucher on City Slicker for a Sushi Dealer at Hashi in Rosebank. I was extremely excited &recommended the voucher to many of Friends especially as I thoroughly enjoy the food. After making a booking in Dec 13, my partner's mom unexpectedly passed on. I called Hashi & cancelled the booking & explained the situation. After checking the voucher this week, I realised that the deal had ended on the 15th of Jan 14 & called to explain the situation as some establishments in good faith do still redeem a voucher, I was disgusted at their attitude. I did not wish to hold Hashi to redeeming the voucher if they refused but the manner in which they responded, was pathetic & rude. The waitron was speaking to the owner in the background & when I asked what I may do with the voucher now, she responded, it is not our problem so you can sort it out with CS. She asked me after I explained the situation, so why didn't you call & book with us? I was confused because clearly she didn't realise I had booked already or was not listening. Ill never refer people to Hashi after this. The manner in which they handle people is uncalled for. I wish all your patrons see this, Thanks Hashi
