Waiting 7 days now for bed booking

On Thursday 30 January 2014 I visited my Neurologist. He suggested I be admitted for treatment for a condition. He gave me a letter to keep and told me that the lady at his rooms wil make a bed booking for me to come in. I got home packed my bag and waited the weekend. When i received no call Monday i called the rooms and the lady told me she put my name on the waiting list and she is waiting for them to come back to her. Monday passed, then Tuesday. Having had a sleepless night with severe pain, I phoned the rooms first thin Wednesday morning. Still no beds available. I decided then to call St Annes myself. The booking clerk rudely told me they do not deal with patients direct and all queries must come from the doctors rooms. I phoned Candice again from the doctors rooms and asked her to please advise what to do. She said she will call me back. She called me back to tell me that they said there is still no beds and I just have to wait there is not much she can do if the booking clerk says
It is now Frid (, another weekend upon us, and still no beds (as per lady at doctors rooms).
This is really pathetic that a big entity like Netcare can have no beds???
