I have never experienced a worse customer service attitude than at the Leeudoringstad Guest House
Breakfast is help yourself but is extremely limited with no fruit or bread, jam The following sms conversation happened during the second day:
"Hi Corne. Is there any chance of having fruit with our breakfast please? Many thanks, Alan".
Corne: "Hi Alan, the fruit in Leeudoringstad were (sic) out of stock when I visited yesterday afternoon. (dis die platteland) sorry."
We checked the first shop we found in Leeudoringstad.
Alan: "Corne, that is not true. We have just seen apples, pears, mangoes, grapes, watermelon, pineapple, bananas and spanspek at the shop down the road. It is disappointing, and we will not recommend you. Alan"
I.e. Basically she had to us.
Corne: "I am sorry you feel that way. As Suidwes (my client) dedicated only a fixed amount for each person. (This was untrue). Next time bring your own food".
Hard to believe, but I have it in writing on sms.
Also be aware that they have at least one guest room with no windows.
I can only advise any travellers to stay far away from this establishment. The owner Corne, is singularly in-hospitable.
