On Saturday morning on the 1st of february 2014 I received a phone call from the hotel express call centre agent by the name thabang. He started calling me on Tuesday the same week persuading me to sign up as one of the members of hotel express holiday club, I was reluctant in becoming a member due to financial constraints. I explained to him that I will not afford to pay a lump sum of R1600 at once, he then told me that they do have terms of 6 and12 months repayments at no interest. I then chose the 12 months period and was told that they company will deduct R134 for 12 months. He asked me wich on day of the month they should deduct and I told him on the last day of the month. The manager by the name Petulla called me few minutes later confirming our conversation with thabang. Later the same day they deducted the whole amount from my bank account, I was shocked, surprised and frustrated because I made it clear to thabang my condition in joining the holiday club. I Immediately called them but I couldn't get hold of tabang I was told he was busy on another line, I then asked for a manager she became very defensive about the whole scenario and told me that they were closing in few minutes
