We booked through [URL Removed] on the internet to stay over in the Ritz hotel in Cape Town for two nights which belong to the African Sky group. On arrival we were allocated a room on the 15th floor of the hotel and the floor and room was in a smoking area and we booked specifically to stay in a NON Smoking room. We requested a possibility to have a non smoking room from reception and was told that the hotel is fully booked and there is no other room available. We stayed over the night and decided to book out the next day because we could no longer take the "vulgar" smell of smoking. Once at reception the lady was very rude and did not even offer us another room or offer us the opportunity of talking to the Manager.
I send an e.mail to African Sky hotel group and received a reply from the General Manager (Henk Smit) to contact him if still in Cape Town. I replied to his mail explained that we are already on our way home. Until now, no reply!!
