My husband broke his finger on the 16th November 2013. A claim was submitted to CAMAF which was rejected. I then wrote to CAMAF appealing the decision and was promised that the entire claim would be paid. I have this in writing. Its been 2 months now and i am getting threats from the hospital to be handed over due to unpaid debt. CAMAF has not paid the claim and after numerous emails and follow up phone calls, i keep getting told that they will attend to the matter. For a closed scheme, i must admit the service is pathetic. Can someone from CAMAF please contact me and let me know if you ever plan on paying the hospital or if i should settle the account myself! Utterly dissapointed with CAMAF!
