We decided to stay at the Sheraton Pretoria Hotel at the last moment on Thursday, 09 January 2014.

The service and our experience at the hotel was extremely disappointing.

Had to get someone up to the room twice to sort out the coffee machine. No service at the pool. Staff standing around talking and not looking after customers. No bread given at dinner. Poor service at breakfast. Changing the tables (dinner/ breakfast & breakfast/ lunch) while guest are still eating just to mention a few things.

Armed guards walking around counting money in the reception area.

For the money you pay you would expect 5 star service.

We stayed in Bed and Breakfast and executive apartments with better service.

International travellers beware you are being ripped off.

There are better hotels available in Pretoria.

Only positive thing about the hotel is the view of the Union Buildings.
