I overnighted at the Golden Horse Casino's hotel on the 14 December 2013. My Car was subjected to Vandalism whilst in the hotel parking which i was told was only for VIP guests and guest staying at the hotel. The car has been scratched across the entire body in some places as if a kid was colouring a picture. The Damages amount to R24 000 as per my insurance. My Car has a Gauteng Registration.
After reporting the incident to the Hotel security I was promised that the matter would be investigated and treated with some urgency. I had to call the Security Site Manger on several occasions requesting updates and feedback from surveillance footage of the parking area. I was given numerous excuses and run arounds. I work in Security and find it difficult to believe that nothing could be provided. I have even asked for a report and to this date have received nothing and was told they will see if they can come up with something. This is the service we are subjected to. It is pathetic. Staff are not qualified for these posts. I have to now be without a vehicle for 2 weeks and pay my excess purely cos the lack of Security at this Tsogo Sun Golden Horse Casino.
