I'd like to take this moment to compliment one of the Guest Services personel by the name of Richard (didn't get his surname) who was on duty on Monday morning on the 28/01/2013. My co. Nedbank had been booked in from the 27th for a Leadership Conference and on the morning of the 28th I realised that I needed to have my clothes ironed and ready for the conference at 8am and I approached Richard at reception for assistance. Richard advised me that ironing services were not available as House Keeping wasn't available that early in the morning. Richard took ownership of my request and started phoning around the resort for assistance. He even asked one of the cleaning staff to assist and she blatantly came up with every excuse why she couldn't help me whilst I stood right there. Realising the urgency of my situation, Richard left the reception area, taking my clothes with him saying he'd make a plan, only to return with them 20 minutes having personally ironed them himself for me. That's going the extra mile. Management should be proud & reward and recognise an employee of Richards calibre. Great stuff Richard, Keep it up. Thank you.
