Lenmed refuses to submit correct authorisation

On the 2nd of September my son was admitted at Lenmed due to him having a seizure. He was well taken care of and came home after a few days. Weeks later I got a call from the hospital to say that I was liable for a co payment, not knowing that I didn't have to pay, I agreed. I later found out that if its an emergency i don't have to pay.
At that point i contacted my medical where it was confirmed that for the case that my son went to the hospital for there's no need to pay, but the co payment arised because the hospital did not submit the correct codes. I was advised by the medical aid to request the hospital to submit an updated authorization.
I called the hospital and got a whole lot of stories and no help. the lady keeps saying she'll call the medical aid but she never does. all i asked her to do is submit an updated authorization but she refuses.
the account has now been handed over to LexMed and additional charges have been added.

If this is the type of treatment a private hospital gives then I really don't see the point of going there.
