So called 'gem of the south coast' For the amount of money we paid, I'm really disappointed! Before we unpacked we did a spring cleaning of the place. There was mould on the walls and ceiling and had to scrub the bathroom because it looked very dirty. There came cockroaches into the house though a hole in the wall, we even started naming them. The stove didn't work properly, we had to wait more than an hour for some kind of heat trying to cook chicken - we went to get take aways instead. The kettle, oh my, it doesn't have an on/off switch so you have to plug the thing in and out and one time it started smoking... The 2 beds that are in the living room is okay but dealing with a tv that cant switch off is very disturbing when trying to sleep. And now for the beds... dirty linen or just no linen at all on some of the beds and some of the beds didn't even have proper mattress's, its Something you would expect when going camping, the floor was more comfortable. The couch was burned all over with cigarettes and was broken and the fabric torn. Paint was coming off, 2 of the taps unusable and doors of cupboards coming off. We paid for a sea view we didn't get, Very upset!!
