My son needs braces. I am currently on classic priority plan. I am on above threshold. I received an email from discovery which states on dental appliances and orthodontics my son has used R662, 50 and currently available R 11950 . The internet and email I received states when you are above threshold you are covered per person. I have spoken to two consultants from discovery and they tell me this is incorrect and when you are in threshold you are covered as a family. This is very misleading and confusing. There is an upfront payment of R7600 which the doctor has to submit and discovery says they will not pay. I will have to pay for this out of my own pocket. According to me and other people I have spoken I am right and discovery is in the wrong and should pay for this since I have it in writing and clearly states on discover web site. Very unhappy and upset. Discovery health must pay
