I found out i was pregnant a month before i joined the medical aid but new that it's a pre existing condition so i did not mention it seeing as i paid all consultations etc. privately. On Saturday i was immediately admited to hospital due to severe bladder infection and nothing to do with my pregnancy and i had to put down a deposit of 6000.00. I've struggled with the medical aid about this and now i got a call saying my contract's terminated due to the fact i did not mention my pregnancy. i think it's a story and they only use it as an excuse not to pay out the claim. if i paid my consultation fees and everything privately why do they care. I think it's the worst medical aid possible and would advise the people to rather use Genesis or Discovery. We need less Medical aids that does not consider their clientelle. I did not even use the medical aid since now and now i need to wait a month before they even pay the instalments out. Worst service ever!!!
