If a doctor chooses to use Lancet Laboratories, I will change the doctor. I will never deal with Lancet again.
I had an horrific experience when my husband was in ICU. Now we get a bill for over R7302. Then I see that the SAME blood tests were done 3-4 times on the SAME day. He had 55 blood tests in 5 days. I was at the hospital 16 hours a day and witnessed a Lancet sister drawing blood ONCE. Why did they need to draw blood 3 more times in 8 hours when the doctor was unlikely to have received the report on the 1st test? The doctor was brilliant. Wilgeheuvel is definitely NOT a great hospital and Lancet get my vote as the worst supplier in the medical profession.
