I joined Hosmed in jan 2013. I wanted the 2nd option i.e. hosmed value but when the cards arrived I realised that it was the 1st option hosmed step and she did not cancell the previous medical aid scheme (Keyhealth). As we speak I am owing Keyhealth about R1000. I tried to get hold of her without any success because she would ignore my calls and will only sms me to say she is in a meeting or in class. Eventually I wrote a complaint to Hosmed, nothing was done. I called numerous times for the option change form eventually I got it and sent it to Hosmed in April. Nothing was done after I have tried and tried to call them, I spoke with many different people because I could see on my payslip that the money deducted is still less than what we agreed on for the option I wanted. I even threaten to publish their service on the news papers. My medical aid was suspended for at least 3 months without my knowledge when I spoke to them they said I was owing because I am on value option and Farouk (Hosmed contact person) told me if I agree to pay for value option from May they will uplift my suspension until investigation is finalised but I still never received any cards. I paid for medication.
