This dermatologist and his side kick therapist are the worst bunch of people. All they care about is money! After paying a R550 consultation fee, they gave me the worst medical advice saying I can eat sweetsand chocolates without it affecting my skin. They also mentioned how drinking water wont help my skin at all and I can continue using make up, provided I come very two weeks for a R350 pure acid peel, which left my skin irritated and burnt. The doxycyline pills they gave me twice did no good but make me feel sick.
I came in with a problem of closed comedones (white heads) and instead I left with painful cystic acne, burnt skin from the pure acid peels, dehydrated, unhealthy skin. Even the products (which amounted to R500) made my skin worse. It was only later that I realised that I have clogged pores and all the products and advise that they gave me made it worse. I also requested on numerous occasions to be prescribed Roaccutane but they refused unless I pay another R550 ON TOP of all the money I spent. If he was a good doctor he wouldve put me on accutane when I first came to him early August my skin would be better, instead its worse and cost me a fortune. I AM SCARRED!!!
